Myself Inside Myself

I saw myself in the cool spring

Stream, I was trying to find

When I dropped a pebble in the water

I did not look the same as I remembered myself to be

After the ripples had faded away

I thought to myself.

Where do I belong?

How do I fit in?

How did I get to be this way?

Then I thought to myself

I have the tools to change the way I had once believed I was

I just had to learn that the truth was within myself to be myself

Rainbows

Rainbows special in many ways

Made of cloth and paint

Made every few days

People come from far and near to watch the rainbows colored tears

Spring Days

When winter fades and goes away,

Spring comes in with rain that makes the bloom and flowers change.

The cold air stops and spring comes to stay.

Flowers bloom and warmth come into play when we start to have longer days.

The sun shines more and the weather get’s even warmer.

This is why I like a spring day.

An Itch Evaporates

What transpires here

Each morning I begin

With a breath

A thought

Then several more

Can I smile

Even if I consider

Myself a dreaded bore

What transpires here

When diligence

Evaporates with itchy

Squirmishes surmounting

Body and mind

Focus on the breath

A metronone

Focus on this

Step

And that focus

On this very thing

That says

Here I am

Expectations

I am only a person seeking divinity in her humanity

This vehicle with all it’s attachments, longings, desires sensations

I offer a dangerous beauty

One day you’ll walk away

Afraid to turn back as if I will turn you into a pillar of salt

One day I’ll offer my heart

Unburden it in your palms

And you will examine it and mail it back to me

With out a return address

You said to have “no expectations”

Too late

I tried to resist

I tried to deny

It remained

One day someone will say goodbye

Oasis

Where is my oasis

I see nothing but a sea

Of numerous grains of sand

Desolate

Destitute

Desperate

Blown by hot winds

I see nothing here

Just microscopic

Sediment

Of the earths crust

Begging for the skies

To fill her ample

Bosom with which

To quench her thirst

Where is the oasis

I feel compassionate

For this humanity

But the drudgery

Is weighing upon me

I don’t want to shoulder my loneliness

Nor do I want to bear witness to theirs

No more

Fulfillment of longings

Are no match for true love

Change of seasons is grander than

The delusion of what they seek

Looking Back at Me

Try at light

Say a prayer

Laugh a little

The salt and pepper

The grey

My hands are free

Looking out at you

Seeing the things

We should know

We see

With you looking

Back at me

Back with me

My hands are free

Try a light

Say a prayer

Laugh a little

The salt and pepper

The grey

Looking out at you

Seeing the things

We should know we see

With you looking

Back at me

Love

Up and above, the love, the love

Live the life you can survive

It’s truth that I want to be

Just let me be

Up and above, the love, the love

It’s up above, what about love

The life, to laugh, to blush

So sincere this device of life

To laugh, to blush

Tenderness, cleverness, sweet and lush

Flushed, hushed, now free at last, the past

It’s truth that I want to be

Just let me be

Up and above, the love, the love

Slowly I inspired me

No Secret

Now like that

I lay like that

I’ve had that

I’ve lost that

I can’t find it

It will be lost forever

But you were something else

Tried it too many times

The only thing there is to do is breath

Take me with you

But you can not

I’ve been set free

Like birds- fly trees

There needs

It’s sort of hard

It’s sort of handsome

It’s sort of no secret

But not anytime

But not anytime

You, anytimers got it sort of hard

It’s sort of handsome

But it’s sort of no secret

But it’s sort of no secret
